Global Perspectives

“New Media and Democracy: Global Perspectives” will bring together a diverse set of scholars to investigate how digital technologies have changed the discourses and practices of democratic politics in various regions around the globe. The conference will broadly address three interrelated questions: How do new media function as an instrument of democratic politics? What role can new media play in the formation of a public sphere? And, to what extent do digital technologies and practices create the conditions for new forms of participatory politics? By discussing these and other issues conference participants will explore the emerging relationship between new media and democracy in our increasingly interconnected world.

Interdum

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.
